In connection with the Coronavirus pancemia and changes in the exhibition calendar, unfortunately in 2020 we are resigning from organising the Charity Auction for which we apologize. We are going to come back to this idea with the next editions of Artist Against Abuse.
 

ELIGIBILITY

Open to all artists, 18 years and older, world-wide, both amateur and professional, including alternative and traditional artwork. Questions about eligibility can be sent to mg@artistagainstabuse.org

 

ENTRY SPECIFICATIONS

A maximum of 3 entries per artists may be submitted for consideration; all media in 2D & 3D forms will be considered. 2D work must be suitably framed with all hardware necessary attached to hang gallery ready. Any artist with installation or digital works must speak with the Exhibitions Curator to coordinate presentation.

Artists may submit entries through the website using the online form (link), or if there are complications, the artist can email mg@artistagainstabuse.org

PUBLICITY

Jestem Tu reserves the right to photograph and reproduce, in color or black and white, all artwork accepted for this exhibition (regardless of copyright) for educational and publicity purposes. 

 

SALES, LIABILITY

Jestem Tu will retain a 50% commission on all sales directly attributed to the exhibition. All prices include the frame and matte, are set by the artist at the time of entry, and should include 50% commission. 50% Jestem Tu's income will be donate programs dedicate to children or against sbuse. The price will remain the same price for the duration of the exhibition. Artist is responsible for work in transit. 

 

DELIVERY & PICK-UP

Accepted works are to be hand-delivered or shipped in reusable crate(s) or carton(s). Included with each work, card listing Name, Address, Phone, Title, Media, Dimensions, and Price. Attach card to the back of the 2D work or base of 3D work. Work is shipped at the artist’s expense to the (information by email).Accepted artists shipping their work must include a prepaid return label for return shipping. If submitted artwork comes without prepaid label it becomes the property of the Jestem Tu at the close of the exhibition. All hand-delivered work must be picked up at the close of the exhibition or work becomes the property of the Jestem Tu to dispose of as it sees fit. Accepted works must remain for the duration of the exhibition.

Due to the inability to implement the Artist Against Abuse exhibition in June 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the open call is extended to September 10, 2020. The new date of exhibition has not yet been confirmed. We aim in November 2020.

ABOUT PROJECT AND FOUNDATION

Jestem Tu presents an opportunity for artists of all types to share their work with the Nortwich community. Jestem Tu is a non-profit organization based in Poland. The goal of the foundation is to create art project conect with education which will be against abuse project. 

Against Abuse Project is a new project of the Jestem Tu foundation. Our intention is to create a multi-year project in which artists and people who deal with violence in order to educate society will unite their forces. We want artists to share their works and the point of view of the problem with us. We intend to expand the project so that the exhibition can travel from city to city, from country to another country. What we show is our priority.

Submissions may include original art in any media, art collections, curiosities, and more.

THE DATAILS

Exhibition take place in The Shoe Factory Social Club in Norwich between 12th and 18th June 2020. Private view will be at 12th June, date is The World Day Against Child Labour. Title of project is Against Abuse. We are looking for artist who presents faces of abuse at artworks. Choosen artworks will be show at exhibition Against Abuse and online on Against Abuse Project website. We are going to promote artist who will sent their works at project's Istagram profil.We love to develop Against Abuse Project and show the exhibition in othres cities and counties in the future. 

All exhibitors must agree to the terms of the our Contract (available upon request).

We are looking for: Fine Arts, Illustration / Comiks, Video / Animation, Other

1. No more then three samples of work:

- List title, year, medium, size, and price (as applicable).

- Format images as JPEG with your name, the work in the titleand the year (i.e. marysia.gasecka.abuse.2019.jpeg)

2. Brief artist statement

ARTIST AGAINST ABUSE 

Please read the regulations before submitting the application. If you are not sure if your work meets the conditions, e.g. size or is an unusual installation, write us an email. We care about getting to know many works and diversity.

Artworks can be submitted in both categories.
